My journey is one that weaves together my roots, passions, and the flavors of India into homemade, organic Indian snacks.

Growing up amidst the picturesque village of Rasra, Ballia, I was surrounded by the wonders of nature – farms, cows, and an abundance of natural beauty. My family's deep connection to farming instilled in me a profound understanding of sourcing organic ingredients and preserving their innate nutrients. It was in the heart of this rustic landscape that my love affair with cooking began.

My life took me across the diverse states of India, from Orissa, Punjab, Lucknow to Kolkata and Delhi. My cooking hence, is a blend of the unique tastes of these diverse states.

However, it was a pivotal moment in my life when my eldest daughter went to college, leaving the comfort of home-cooked meals behind. Her yearning for the taste of my food ignited the creation of something special – a range of flavorful Indian snacks with an extended shelf life.

Thus, Maya's Nutri Nest was born, an embodiment of my passion for cooking and my unwavering commitment to nurturing health and taste. With over 30 years of culinary experience, I take immense pride in crafting snacks that prioritise nutritional goodness.
